financial aid and rants and raves

Another 30 to go. August 1st is here, and with it comes the final month before tenure. I'm nearly stunned I've made it. With this moment comes the chance to reflect on the past five years, as well as a chance to look forward. I'm not there yet, and by the time 09/01/06 rolls around, I'll be frazzled to the point I won't have the energy or desire to do much beyond sleep. I will say that the Ren Faire starts this weekend, and I'm beginning to miss it. No matter, I'll keep to my promise: if they don't want me, then they don't want my money. Ask me if I made it come Monday. Anyway, things are busy right now, and I've already done my walk-ins for the week. Monday is the busiest day, but now I can work on folders today and appointments tomorrow. I also need to clamp down on my spending (no suprise there) and I can still make my goal of paying off the car. More later.
